WHITEPAPER COMPRESSED AIR DRYERSINTRODUCTION
The formation of water and moisture in a compressed air system is an inherent byproduct of inherent to compressing air. Unfortunately, this water and moisture may be harmful to the many tools, types of equipment and production processes that rely on compressed air.
The most common problem is corrosion, which results in the formation of rust in the compressed air system. When released into the system, these rust particles can damage the system itself and the tools it powers, or it can contaminate the end products. In addition, the water or moisture can also promote the growth of bacteria or they which even can be adsorbed by the end products. This could lead to a loss of quality of these products, which could obviously be a big problem in pharmaceuticals or food production, just to name a few.Fortunately, these are problems that can be easily fixed solved with by installing the proper equipment. However, before we get to that, let’s find out why the water is formed in compressed air in the first place.
